Profile Sempai Matt Longmuir.

I have always been interested in martial arts, but never had the courage to actually do it, until I met my instructor who convinced me to come along and train. I started karate at the age of 23, in a style called Seiki Juku. I attained my black belt in 2002. Since then I have never looked back and continue to perfect my karate under Sensei Haughey.

Myself and my family have recently relocated from England and now live in Brisbane. My priority was to find a well established, reputable karate organisation and subsequently now train in Goju Kai.

I find karate promotes excellent discipline, and teaches respect , and it is great for all round body fitness .

Sempai is a dedicated martial artist who always shows great martial spirit and is a true respectful gentleman.
