Traditional Japanese
Karate is an ideal form of mental and physical exercise, self-defence
training, and a fun social outlet for Men, Women, and children
of all ages.
At Australian Goju
Kai Karate, we believe that developing and maintaining a healthy
body and mind is paramount to getting as much enjoyment out of
life as you possibly can.
Developing good health
and fitness level is very important for the quality of your life.
At AGKK, we also nurture spiritual health as well
as physical health. Spiritual health allows us to get through
our busy day with control and sufficient energy reserves, as well
as staying calm, focused, and positive.
Australian Goju Kai
Karate combines East-West training philosophies and proven teaching
methods to develop key elements, such as: strength, flexibility,
stamina, and coordination. Developing these key elements assist
the bodys circulatory systems, musculoskeletal and hormonal
systems to function smoothly and efficiently to maintain overall
health & well-being.
By participating
in this traditional martial art and improving your fitness, your
ability to cope with the stresses of life will be enhanced and
your body will better able to fend off illness. Fitness allows
your body to sleep better, to wake feeling rested, and to explore
new life activities Fitness doubly improves overall body tone
and appearance.
Your Goju Kai martial
arts program will be more successful when combined with sensible
health habits such as good nutrition, regular hours, non-smoking,
moderation of alcohol intake, and stress reduction and avoidance.
Important Note: while
AGKK provides the greatest duty of care to its students and customers
as possible, if you have any underlying health problems or have
not been physically active for some time, or if you are over the
age of 50 years, you should seek advise from your doctor prior
to commencing a physical exercise with Australian Goju Kai Karate.
Lastly and best of
all, training in Karate is lots of fun, providing the opportunity
to meet new friends.
