"Introducing a 'Chief Karate Instructor' who understands Children"

All AGKK training programs are conducted under the direction of Chief Karate Instructor, 'Bernie Haughey', who has a Bachelor Degree in Education, and a Diploma of Teaching.

Currently teaching at a Senior Secondary School Brisbane, Bernie Haughey has over 20-years of personal teaching experience with children, and brings with him qualifications in basic child psychology.

   
Bernie, a father of four, masterly integrates his compassionate and yet clinical understanding of the everyday needs and behaviours of children, and combines this experience with the traditional approaches & philosophies of Goju Kai Karate in his classes.

Through a love and passion for teaching & karate, Bernie has dedicated his life to helping children grow & develop, and continues to do so by guiding his students to find their own distinct path or road in life, via personal spiritual enlightenment and achievement!
