Step-by-step, your child can accomplish their dreams. By participating in Karate, your child will learn to set short-term goals. These form a base for building foundations and confidence. As they participate, they gain a little confidence every time they train.

Perhaps sometimes, they do not get first place. Nevertheless, at AGKK they will benefit from many accomplishments along the way. They will be considered, valued, & respected. By participating, they will be considered a success.

We reinforce our philosophical teaching by turning thoughts into action. Getting children to understand these most important of values sets them up for knowing how to achieve later in life. Thoughts must be turned into action. We begin this learning process with basic posture, balance, standing positions, fist making, and learning to punch and kick correctly. In essence by doing so, they learn how to focus & concentrate.

The greatest human invention or idea may have hundreds of failures before it achieves success. Sometimes a student may think something is standing in their way, but this is really an illusion. What exists is an opportunity for them to do their best and gain success. My advice has always been to 'think positive', and find fuel in any failure.

Through participation and commitment, Students learn to take responsibility for their actions… Remember, "Where ever there is an action, there is a reaction."

Throughout their lifetime, there are obstacles or distractions in the road ahead of your child. However, these obstacles do not have to stop them. If they run into a wall, they learn not to turn around and give up, "learn how to climb it, work around, or go through it!"

AGKK teaches basic techniques to advanced. Beginning Children are made to feel welcome. We cater for there needs, and we cater for their individual skill level.
